LakeFinder: A Minnesota DNR online tool that finds and displays detailed information about most lakes in Minnesota. NASA Earth Observatory: Award-winning NASA website and outlet, published weekly, with images, stories and information on the environment and climate. Includes collections of images by topic with many comparing changes over time. Sixteen global maps derived from NASA satellite data provide a global view of what’s happening on our planet and changes from month to month of key parts of Earth’s climate system.
USGS Landsat Program: Provides information, image collections, and downloads of Landsat data ̶ the world's longest continuously acquired collection of space-based moderate-resolution land remote sensing data.
European Space Agency (ESA) Sentinel Program: The constellation of Sentinel satellites provides data for monitoring and analysis of Earth’s resources and environment.
United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): The EPA develops criteria for ambient water quality that accurately reflect the latest scientific knowledge on the impacts of pollutants on human health and the environment. The EPA is currently studying innovative technologies that measure nutrient pollution in the water using remote sensing.
